Dismal state of politics

Every community needs a leader. A person who will fight for the rights of all that live in that neighbourhood or on that street. A person who will stand up for people on one hand and on the other be able to run a business. I am able to do all these things because I have been blessed with a lot of love from my family and friends, but also from many people from my community.

India is the world's largest democracy, but its politicians are not generally held in high regard. Why is it so hard for Indian citizens to have faith in their representatives - and why is it so easy for these politicians to disappoint them?

Its high time that we must discuss what makes politicians so unreliable in India. In light of the recent political turmoils, we hope this will help clarify why being a politician might not be the most glamorous job in India.
